LUCHA and Empowering Girls and Women. The host for this show is Nicolás Süssmann Herrán. The guests are Maria Jose Medina and Francisco Torres.

Social entrepreneurship and work with communities has been one of the approaches to overcome the challenges that inequality poses to the growth of girls and women, particularly access to education not only because of financial barriers but also gaps in preparation that places them at a disadvantage with other children who want to go to university. In this episode we meet Maria José Medina and Francisco Torres, founders of LUCHA, a social entrepreneurship focused organization founded in 2019 after winning the Resolution Project at Harvard National Model United Nations. LUCHA is focused on supporting girls in Bogota and Soacha, Colombia, in overcoming gender, race, and class inequality through vocational orientation and preparation for standardized university entry tests.
