Rock’n Our Disabilities Variety-thon 2020

Rock'n Our Disabilities Variety-thon 2020

East Coast meets West Coast in a wholesome holiday event spanning three hours as we bring cheer to our quarantined friends and fans while providing a charitable outlet to melt your heart during a season when giving back means more than it has in previous years. With the 2020 Holiday Season upon us and no end in sight of the pandemic, families are struggling across the United States and many can’t claim they have it harder than those in households with children with disabilities.
Donations will be welcomed throughout each of the three hours of the show by a different host and a cast of wonderful and diverse performers willfully taking time from their busy schedules and paying gigs to bring this collection of performances to you all in virtual land.
Rock’n Our Disabilities is a foundation that provides social, recreational, and mentoring services for families with special needs. It’s an inclusive group that serves as a community for a wide variety of mental and physical disabilities. Their goal: to use the magicians, variety performers, comics, and ambassadors of happiness and wholesomeness provided to raise $2000 happy dollars to distribute to families in need this holiday season.
Jonathan Molo, one of the charitable performers at the helm of this project, is the official magician of the non-profit organizations Autism Eats and Rock’n Our Disabilities and is the recipient of the IChange Nations Champion Leadership Award for his work in the special needs community. He is a member of the prestigious Academy of Magical Arts at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA and he and his band of performers are the bringers of good feelings, kindness, and cheer.
Drew Nugent of Nugent’s Follies is one of the East Coast’s authorities on vintage entertainment and he, himself, falls on the Autistic spectrum making this project very dear to him. The entertainment group associated with the Follies are committed to charitable causes and bringing happiness and work to audiences and performers in the most classy and classic way possible.
