Elle recently capped off three years in Salt Lake City, UT. During her time in the beehive state, Elle had the privilege of telling more than 700-stories. She also stepped in, whenever needed, and could fill eight positions station wide.
For regular newsroom operations, Elle had a regular presence on the anchor desk, reported, associate produced, managed and wrote for web, and was trained on the WSI Max Weather/Traffic system to create and present graphics for traffic reports. Elle also spent time hosting, producing and writing for the station’s daily, hour-long lifestyle show, The PLACE.
Elle trained a number of morning show producers and acted as the interim morning executive producer.
During this time, Elle also acted as the morning newsroom manager and was tasked with writing and fact checking copy, maintaining the station’s social media pages, answering phones, responding to viewer emails, and coordinating station initiatives with the sales team.
Elle was able to master the art of multitasking… and running in high heels. When staffing ran thin, Elle took on the responsibilities of the morning/noon floor director — using commercial breaks to move studio cameras and get guests mic’d up before returning to the desk for the next block (where she rolled her own teleprompter).
Elle is currently pursuing anchor, reporter, host and traffic positions in top 30 broadcast markets and networks.
