Both our current global pandemic and ongoing experiences of racism are harsh realities impacting every aspect of our wellness (physically, emotionally, socially, financially, etc.). Even with these dual public health crises, we all have the ability to inspire social change while maintaining our self-care. Wit & Reason is hosting free 45-minute long sessions, twice a day on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays. These recurring workshops offer our community opportunities to express their thoughts and feelings, learn Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills including Mindfulness, Relationship Skills, and How to Manage Emotions & Distress, and connect them with others experiencing similar challenges around the world.
Our Wednesday evening session is a POC Support Group, reserved exclusively as a virtual space for people of color (POC, nonwhite or other than white).
