FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

TOP REALTOR DEVELOPMENT TEAMS SELL COLORADO HORSE PARK

Statement Regarding the sale of The Colorado Horse Park

The Colorado Horse Park, Denver’s world-class horse show center has been sold. Colorado Horse Park is a prominent staple to the city of Parker and critical to the continuance of the equestrian sport in Colorado. The premier venue’s focus has been to host an international class of the highest rated hunter/jumping and dressage events in the western state region. The CHP show season boasts visitors of approximately 3000-5000 per week and attracts approximately 650 competitors from a field of local, national and international amateurs and top competitors of the sport.

The seller, Mark Bellissimo, is a forerunner and prominent equestrian influencer and owner of Equestrian Sports Productions. The entity is one of the world’s largest equestrian sports management companies with a goal to promote the love of the equestrian sport and the lifestyle that supports all aspects of the sport.

The goal was to position the Colorado Horse Park for success from both the perspective of the Colorado Horse Park facility and the adjacent residential parcels, collectively “The Colorado Horse Park Improvement Project.” Bellissimo retained Andrea Price, Price & Co. Real Estate along with her development partner Jayne Cordes, Colorado Realty and Development Group to align a private sale to parties who would continue CHP’s monumental contributions to the equestrian sport.

According to Price and Cordes, “It was paramount that the Colorado Horse Park continue as a show venue. The park’s continued operation has a significant impact to the overall economy of Parker and surrounding areas as well as sustaining a multi-million dollar equestrian industry.”

The buyer has been announced to be Singletree Equestrian, a group of Littleton Equine Medical Center veterinarians and key stakeholders. Singletree Equestrian was represented by Andrew Dodgen and Bob Leino of Fuller Real Estate. Littleton Equine Medical Center has been a staple to Denver and in the surrounding regions for its status as an outstanding Equine Hospital which focuses on lameness, internal medicine, critical and operative care. According to co-owner, Dr Kelly Tisher, “We are thrilled to announce our purchase of The Colorado Horse Park. This venue has been and will continue to be such an asset to our Colorado equestrian community.” According to the ownership group, the vision is to build a state-of-the-art equine veterinary center while continuing to improve the shows and facility.

This was a “perfect marriage and we couldn’t have found a better buyer who has been vested in the welfare of our horses and horse owners in Colorado for over 70 plus years” according to Price and Cordes.
