Next Thursday, December 9th from noon to 1pm we are co-hosting the Quarterly Community Development Update. This is a great opportunity to hear from local builders and the City of Chico on the current state of development in the Chico area. We are co-hosting this free Zoom event with the City of Chico, Valley Contractor’s Exchange, and the Chico Builders Association and will have special guest speaker Chris Giampaoli, a local builder. You can register on our website at chicochamber.com/events

Tonight, December 3rd, is the Downtown Chico tree lighting! Festivities start at 6pm and we hope to see you there. We recommend grabbing a bite to eat at a local restaurant and then hitting the ice rink for a fun-filled evening!

This last Wednesday we had our final Chamber Board Meeting for 2021 where we honored two outgoing members: Jolene Francis from Enloe Medical Center and Michelle Niven from CARD. We want to send a big Thank You to both of these wonderful ladies for their many years of service on the board and for the business community as a whole. We appreciate all you have done!

Next week we have our Chamber Business Connections on Wednesday, Dec. 8th at 7:30am. Sierra Nevada Connections will be hosting, and you can find more information on our website at chicochamber.com/events or by clicking here.

As we head into the Holiday season, we want to remind you that we still have masks and hand sanitizer available for local businesses. Please stop by our office at 180 E 4th Street, Suite 120 to get yours, during regular business hours.
