This week we met with the people behind the Velley’s Edge planning project east of town to get more information on their project. This development will provide a lot of housing in Chico, which we desperately need. Information about the project can be found at www.chicovalleysedge.com

This week we also met with a number of employers with a large number of employees, to hear about their challenges in hiring, recruitment, and retention. We had a great conversation and are looking forward to helping. One of the ways we are advocating for recruitment and retention of employees is by resurrecting the “Choose Chico” initiative. Stay tuned for more information regarding this.

On October 12th at 9am, we are hosting a presentation about bringing Broadband internet to Chico.
