For centuries, there have been many clear differences between the North and the South in the United States, including geography, weather climate, political views, and food preferences just to name a few. Ministry is among the many things that can differ greatly between the North and the South. Ministry outside the South can often feel like we are truly calling dry bones to come to life. During this session, we will explore the many ways ministry in the North differs from ministry in the South, and strategies that we can use to reach women for Christ effectively in the North. Join Mary Landis, women’s ministry consultant for the Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania/South Jersey and Mandy Stenberg, Baptist Convention of Iowa admin and women’s ministry coordinator, as they host several women’s ministry leaders from throughout the Northeast and Midwest sections of the U.S. in a chat about loving and leading women outside the South.
Joining the chat are the following;
Sue Hodnet, State Director of Women’s Ministries, Baptist State Convention of Michigan
Kari Minter, Church Planter Spouse Advocate, Baptist Convention of Iowa
Wendy Pierce, Member Engagement Director, Cottage Grove Church
Mandy Stenberg (Co-Leader), Women’s Ministry Coordinator, Baptist Convention of Iowa
