October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we’ll be joining efforts with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department to host a FUN event for all, with the purpose of collecting as many donations as possible for Safe Alliance, a local organization that helps many victims of domestic violence in our community.
We will have live music from a fantastic DJ, who is a survivor of domestic violence himself, food trucks, local artists, games, raffles and more…
The entire family is welcomed, including your doggies! This will be held both indoors and outdoors.
DONATIONS:
Bins will be placed to collect donations. A list of items needed at the shelter will be emailed once you register for the event. We will email you a list of needed items at the shelter where women and children seek refuge once they leave a domestic violence situation

you can choose to donate whatever amount you wish when you register for the event on this page. All donations will be given to Safe Alliance once the event ends.
VENUE:
Come and enjoy some amazing beer & wine at Armored Cow “cider, kombucha, other non-alcoholic beverages, and all the wine for the wine lovers out there!! Plus our gluten free beer is safe for those who have celiac disease since its brewed with 100% gluten-free grains”.
FOOD TRUCKS:
Latin Stop, Tiny Biscuit & Chop Chop Red Pot
MUSIC & DANCE!
DJ mp3 will be playing jams during the entire event.
Zumba & Cardio Funk by the amazing J. Panda from 1-2 PM for those who wanna bust some moves and burn some calories!
GAMES & FUN:
Ping Pong Table (Tournament!), Corn Hole, Face Paint for children (and adults with a young spirit!), and more games will be available!
LOCAL ARTISTS & VENDORS:
Handmade by Meg, Damsel in Distress, Pet Treats, and more locals will be there to promote their products and services…support local!!!
You can come hang out, have a bite, grab a drink, listen to the music, participate and dance in the class, support your local artists, or whatever your heart desires!!! We hope you join us and help us gather many much much-needed donations!
