Several Interpretations of Home is an international remote collaboration between artists in Changhua, Taiwan and Berlin, Germany. Through the Taiwanese face and the Taiwanese body, this project explores the possibilities of dance film, discussing the intrinsic (national) identity of the Taiwanese people who live(d) overseas.
The Germany version was filmed in Berlin, created through the remote collaboration between Wang Hao-Yeh, Lee Yen, and Yanina Isla. They migrated to Berlin from foreign countries, establishing their new life, building the new identity. However, sometimes the sense loneliness and isolation appears when everything becomes a routine. In the film, the protagonist seems to ask who is the person in the mirror? Trains move people to places, as a Taiwanese, where does her belong to?
